Oakridge will be one of the last communities in Calgary to see its streets, roads and cul-de-sacs cleared this year, as the City of Calgary web site has revealed all streets in the community will be cleaned and swept on June 5th and 6th.
Street sweeping across the city officially starts on Monday, April 17th, but Oakridge won’t see any activity until 45 days later.
Residents are reminded that when signs go up in their neighbourhood to remove all vehicles from the street ahead of the scheduled time on the signage. Those who don’t could face fines of up to $120.
