With Christmas only a few weeks away, the Oakridge Community Centre will soon become a hive of holiday activities to keep kids occupied during this very busy time of year.

The Oakridge Before and After School Care Program kicks things off on Friday, Dec. 6th at the Community Centre with its Annual KIds Christmas Craft Sale. The sale runs from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the arena lobby.

Two weeks later, the Winter Break Camp for children from Kindergarten to Grade 6 kicks off “with a variety of activities that provide children with a wide range of experiences and opportunities.”

The fees are $50 a day per child. and take place on Dec. 20, 23, 27, and 30, as well as Jan. 2 and 3.

“With an emphasis on play and fun, children can develop their leadership skills, self-esteem and independence in a safe and supportive environment,” the promotional poster reads. For more information, email: oakbasc@gmail.com.
