The South Glenmore Bicycle Pump Track, which was closed for most of the summer so that the Parks Foundation could complete improvements to the park, has now re-opened.
Back in April, the Pump Track was closed to the public “in order to make the pump track more enjoyable for cyclists and to enhance the overall safety of the pump track by improving the viewing area, aesthetics, and separation between the pump track and the existing Elbow River pathway,” said Kayla Kievits, Marketing Co-ordinator for the Parks Foundation Calgary. “Improvements include new signage, perimeter fencing, and paving.”
