Purlieu Bistro temporarily closes its doors due to COVID-19

One of the most popular restaurants in Oakridge has decided to close its doors indefinitely in an effort to stem the spread of COVID-19.

The owners of Purlieu Bistro announced the closure on their Instagram account on March 16th.

“We are in the business of caring for people on a daily basis and it breaks our hears to temporarily close our doors, but we also care for our staff and the community around us,” the Instagram post read. “If closing can. help just a tiny bit for the greater good than it’s what we need to do.

“Please be safe everyone. We will see you soon.”
