City of Calgary planting nearly 50 trees in Oakridge parks this summer
The City of Calgary is embarking on an ambitious tree planting program in Oakridge this summer that will see nearly 50 trees planted in two community parks.
The location of the future trees are identified by City of Calgary signage and orange pylons in two Oakridge parks – along the dog park pathway on the west side of the community and throughout Oakwood Park near the Oakridge Rain Garden.
According to a City of Calgary representative, most the plantiing should be completed by early July.
