Crime in Oakridge continues its downward trend

Crime in Oakridge is down 26% year-over-year, according to the latest statistics from the Calgary Police Service (CPS).

The community only saw two crimes in February – both break-and-enters – as compared to three crimes the previous February and three crimes the previous month. Oakridge experiences on average 5.3 crimes a month.

Total Oakridge crimes is calculated as the sum of break-and-enters (dwelling, commercial, and other premises), theft from vehicles, theft of vehicles, assaults (non-domestic), commercial robberies, street robberies, and non-domestic ‘other’ violence.

For the last 12 months, Oakridge has experience 64 crimes, as compared to 87 crimes the previous year.
