Winter plant fundraiser launched to support greenspace improvements

A winter plant fundraiser is now underway in Oakridge to raise funds to help improve area greenspaces.

Oh MY Oakridge, a volunteer group that has come together to raise money for the improvement of area greenspaces and playgrounds, has partnered with Growing Smiles to sell a variety of winter plants. The deadline for orders is Nov. 15th and pick up is on Nov. 24th at the Oakridge Community Association.

Plants for sale this year include: poinsettias, both red and white varieties; indoor tropical planters; holiday wreaths; hanging greenery boughs; and outdoor greenery arrangements.
