Apple Lady sets up shop on Mondays and Saturdays in front of Purlieu

Local fruit and vegetable wholesaler, the Apple Lady, has recently set up shop in the parking lot in front of Purlieu restaurant, providing Oakridge resident with an opportunity twice a week to purchase from Alberta and B.C.

The green tent will be set up on Monday afternoons and Saturday mornings each week through the late summer and early fall. Available for purchase from Avalon Orchard in the Okanagan are a variety of apples, peaches, apricots, blueberries, plums, grapes, cucumbers, and cherries.

In support of the Apply Lady, Purlieu Bistro is now providing hungry shoppers with a breakfast takeout menu from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, featuring favourites like breakfast burritos and iced coffee.

The Apple Lady is open on Mondays from 3 to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the plaza parking lot at 3109 Palliser Drive S.W. For more information on the Apple Lady, visit www.applelady.ca.
