Restaurant openings continue in Oakridge
Carmine’s Pizzeria and Nellie’s on 90th are the latest two restaurants to open in Oakridge, as the community slowly emerges from the COVID-19 shutdown.
A renovated Nellie’s re-opened at 50% capacity on June 5th, while Carmine’s opened its doors on June 11th. And the Oriental Phoenix recently posted a sign on its front door indicating it plans to re-open on July 2nd. With the city entering Phase 2 of its re-opening plan on June 22nd, all restaurants are able to open at full capacity, if they are able to keep tables two metres apart.
No word yet from the owners of Purlieu on when or if they plan to open for in-room dining, but they do continue to offer curb-side service from Thursdays to Saturdays.
